Do you find yourself picking up every pair of gloves in a sports shop, examining the material, colour and workmanship, and wondering how on earth something like that is made? Then this is the job for you. At KEEPERsport, you’ll develop the products used by goalkeepers in 25 countries. You’ll be based at the KEEPERbase in Kottingbrunn, right at the heart of goalkeeping.

In the summer of 2026, Lionel Mpasi was in goal for the Democratic Republic of the Congo at the World Cup. Wearing gloves that we developed. Two years earlier, it was just a sketch on a table in Kottingbrunn. You’ll be sitting at that very same table.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be in charge of our in-house collection: gloves, textiles and equipment. You’ll design, develop, test and approve products.

– Design: colour, shape, graphics, from the initial concept to the final
sample – Development with our manufacturers, from the sketch through the tech pack to final
approval – Materials: latex, fabrics, patterns, liaising right up to the chemical manufacturers. You know what’s new before anyone else starts using it–
Testing and fitting with real goalkeepers, from young talent to the Circle of Pros. Taking fit measurements, incorporating feedback into the product–
Quality: Evaluating sample runs, fine-tuning with the factory until it’s just right–
Timings and product data, from the EAN to the finished collection on launch day–
Photo shoots and shows: model castings, bookings, appearances at trade fairs and fashion
shows– Liaising with marketing and buying

Who we’re looking for

– A goalkeeper at heart. You understand why a particular cut or type of latex can make all the difference to a goalkeeper. And if ‘Negative Cut’ doesn’t mean anything to you yet, you’re keen to find out–
An eye for product. You can spot if there’s two millimetres too much foam on the back of the hand or if the colour
differs from the specification – Proficient in Adobe, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop, right through to creating a print-ready file for the
factory – Organised. A collection comprises hundreds of individual items and has a
launch date – Self-reliant. You see what needs doing and get on with it –
confident command of English. Our manufacturers aren’t based in
Austria – willing to travel. Trade fairs and manufacturers, including in the Far East. Not on a regular basis, but it’s part of the job –
very good command of German. Plus: you use Claude or GPT in your day-to-day work –
Plus, not essential: pattern making and pattern alterations, and you can sew yourself –

How you’ll work with us

There are around 25 of us in Kottingbrunn; you’ll work closely with marketing and purchasing on a daily basis. Decisions are made amongst goalkeepers here: the management team have played in goal themselves – one of them at professional level – and you’ll discuss your product directly with them. Short lines of communication, no approval loops.

You’ll be right at the heart of where our future is decided. We’ve been selling adidas, Nike and uhlsport for 25 years, and that won’t change. But our Vision 2030 is ‘Own Brand’: our own brand will become the largest part of our business. Whoever develops the collection helps build this goal.
