A REAL GOALKEEPER IN THE CIRCLE OF PROS

Manuela Zinsberger embodies everything it means to be a goalkeeper: uncompromising, always on the ball and fully committed to her team. As captain of the Austrian national team and with over 100 international caps to her name, she is one of Europe’s most experienced female goalkeepers. She is now part of the KEEPERsport Circle of Pros, sharing the same passion for women’s football that drives us all.

WELCOME to Team Manu

Born in the Weinviertel region, she trained at the National Centre for Women’s Football in St. Pölten. Her career took her via FC Bayern Munich and seven years at Arsenal WFC to Borussia Dortmund, where she has been between the posts since 2026. She is captain of the Austrian national team and one of the most-capped players in the team’s history. In 2025, she crowned her career by winning the Champions League title, becoming the first Austrian woman ever to do so.

    Manuela Zinsberger’s goalkeeper gloves

Manu plays in the KEEPERsport Hero Elite Power, our most technically advanced range featuring premium latex and professional-grade materials. Strapless, so nothing comes between her hand and the ball. The hybrid cut combines a negative cut on the index and little fingers for maximum ball control with latex-soft transitions on the middle and ring fingers for an optimal fit without any annoying seams – the best of both worlds.

Her glove also features her initials, “MZ” – a personal touch that makes it uniquely hers.

Working together for female goalkeepers

Manu isn’t just our brand ambassador; she plays an active role in our product development, particularly when it comes to kit for women. Her experience in top-flight football feeds directly into understanding what female goalkeepers really need, so that women’s football can continue to grow both on and off the pitch.

That is exactly what we stand for at KEEPERsport: Built by Goalkeepers. Manu isn’t just a face on an advert; she sits around the table with our product team. She tests, she challenges, she tells us where a cut doesn’t fit or a material fails in a real match, long before it ever reaches the shelves. This close involvement is no coincidence. For years, women’s goalkeeping kit was simply scaled down from men’s kit, we want to change that, and to do so we need female goalkeepers who have played the game themselves. Manu brings precisely this experience to the table, with the same uncompromising attitude she displays between the posts. For us, this isn’t a side note, but the very heart of our collaboration: making women’s football better, one product at a time.
